Get Totally Random with us!!!

“Puberty… as Totally Random as it seems, it really is just a bunch of side effects contributing to the Totally awesome, growing and changing person you are!!!”

Coming from a nursing and teaching background, the team at Totally Random have a passion for educating young people about the journey from child to adult.  During our fun, interactive programs where students are encouraged to ask questions, we cover the physical, emotional and social implications of going through puberty in a modern world. We offer a range of programs to suit your young people, from afternoon teas to an extensive course run over 4 weeks.

A note from us...

We love watching students come out the other side of our program with a greater awareness, confidence and knowledge of their changing bodies and its effect on everyone! We understand that this subject can be embarrassing, weird and even scary! But our program offers an interactive based program to not merely educate students, but give them something fun, crazy and random to be excited about! Because our bodies are just that, CRAZY and RANDOM.

So what's the deal?

Puberty is the word we use to describe the changes that happen both inside and outside your body, as you mature from a child to an adult.

Every child will go through the changes which occur through adolescence, it is the only way you can grow up! This is an exciting and strange time in your life as you experience new feelings and begin to make decisions about some important things.

Puberty happens for males and females and not everyone will pass through the same stage at the same time. It takes a long time to change into a grown-up, usually about 5 or 6 years. For most males, puberty begins between the ages of eleven and fourteen. For most females, it begins between eight and thirteen.

Some people will start earlier, some later. It really doesn’t matter, eventually, everyone gets to the same point. Okay, so we know we are going to change, but how and why? Let’s find out together!!!
